The original video space is a bit like mad science, with marketers, agencies, and content creators all looking for the secret formula for engaging audiences.
So AOL Video took a look at three categories of original videos – style, entertainment, and lifestyle – and figured out what got people to watch, share, and complete.
A few examples: Longer videos don't necessarily mean a drop in completion rates for certain topics. Exclusivity matters for shareability. And yes, people like cheese more than they like chickpeas. (But that you probably could have guessed.)
