Micro Video Goes Macro
The attention span of consumers is dissolving — and with 59% of people watching videos that are one minute or less every day, it’s up to advertisers and publishers to find a way to reach these fast-moving end users. That means evolving with consumer habits so that agencies can better engage with their consumers with snackable content. And consumers aren’t the only ones hungry for short-form video. Advertisers are eager to hone in on this desire for shortened stories with half of them expecting short-form videos (5 minutes or shorter) to present the largest opportunities in the next 12 months.
