As most of you know, Advertising Week kicks off today – it’s the time of year that brings the advertising community together to share big ideas, discuss disruptive changes and applaud innovation in the industry.

We Get People

Each year, I find myself amazed by the new ways consumers are challenging us to deliver better: better content, better advertising, better ways to reach them.  Regardless of the medium or platform, it all comes down to knowing your audience, what excites them and gets them engaged. 

At AOL we get people. We get people engaged with Project Devil, which has grown to become one of the best performing, visually stunning ad units on the web.  We get people talking with the most interactive news site online, The Huffington Post.  We get people watching, growing our video views over 6 fold.  We get people together in neighborhoods across the country through 850+ Patch communities by delivering hyper-local stories when communities need them most.
