Premium Formats Get Smarter

Our online ads just got smarter. And we think our newest ad format release – Smart Apps: applications that “talk” to one another – will really get your consumers interacting.

Premium Formats Get Smarter

With the Smart Apps package, interaction with an asset in one application affects what is displayed in the others, forming a complete product picture. They help to recreate the product experience found on your site, and provide users with relevant content for the product they chose to view.

For example, let’s say you are a CPG client launching a Devil campaign for a new line of home-style dressing. You chose an image gallery in the first module, a poll in the second and a coupon in the third. If the user clicks on an image of grilled chicken, the poll would change to questions about your favorite side dishes to serve with chicken and the third module would become a coupon for the dressing needed to make a marinade. The Devil unit has been automatically altered to be entirely relevant to the information the consumer is interested in.

Smart apps help tailor the ad experience, and allow you to build more in-depth conversations by elaborating on your products or messages. And overall, this package creates a more engaging and interactive ad unit, increasing interest and potentially increasing purchase intent.

The applications that work best with this package happen to be some of our most popular apps: Image Galleries, Video, Coupons, Content feeds, Polls, Profilers and Quizzes. However, all 20 Premium Formats apps can be used as long as it makes sense to pair them together. Smart Apps can be incorporated into campaigns across categories, so this package is an option for most advertisers.
