The AOL On Network Launches Latest Connected TV App
Today is another exciting day for The AOL On Network. We have released version 2.0 of our connected TV app and are announcing our launch on TiVo platforms.

AOL On, formerly AOL HD, features ad-serving capabilities on four of our supported platforms: Samsung, Roku, Sony, and Google TV with a full launch on TiVo planned in the coming weeks.
The new application features a redesigned, cutting edge user interface that showcases our premium content in a high-quality environment. Drawing from The AOL On Network’s massive video library, the AOL On app will feature AOL Originals from Moviefone, Engadget, and HuffPost Entertainment as well as partner content from Reuters, AP, BBC, Newsy, Entertainment Tonight, Sugar, E!, Splash News, CNET, and Gourmet TV.
The videos will be distributed into one of five channels: News, Entertainment, Tech, Food and Home. New content will be added on a daily basis, providing users with fresh, relevant videos on the breaking stories and trending topics they are interested in.
Fifteen and thirty-second static, high definition pre-roll ads will run in front of AOL On’s brand-safe content. The ad-serving capabilities of this new application will enable AOL advertisers to reach consumers across every screen, a driving concept from the NewFront event.
The AOL On connected TV app is sold “run of.” A limited scale of video inventory can be purchased either by device or by channel (News, Entertainment, Tech or Food and Home). Please contact your AOL On video seller for more information.
We look forward to a great launch and a bright future for The AOL On Network and connected TVs.
