AOL Music Launches Play for the Kindle Fire
AOL music has launched an exclusive version of its PLAY app for the Kindle Fire.

The new app is formatted to stream music beautifully on the 7-inch screen. Since the launch of the app on both Android and iPhone, approximately 1M users have downloaded it, a number that should continue to increase with the addition of the newest version of the application.
App users can listen to their own music, see what their friends are listening to, and share their favorite songs via PLAY, Facebook, Twitter, and more. PLAY allows users to listen to personally owned music, as well as stream music from over 55K SHOUTcast radio stations. And, users can watch clips from AOL Music News, staying connected with the latest industry news.
AOL Mobile First Senior Director Sol Lipman said, “The Kindle Fire can’t get much more awesome, but somehow we made beautiful babies together with PLAY. It’s the best social music experience on the Fire, and I say that because I’m only mostly unbiased. Look, just stop reading and go try it."
Download the application for free for a limited time, here.
