Firearms & ammunition
Advertising of firearms and ammunition is limited to certified antique firearms and ammunition, provided they are not operable.

Air guns
The advertising of air guns is acceptable provided they are legal in the states where they are sold and shipped, and the ads are demo-targeted to those states.

Stun guns
The advertising of stun guns is acceptable provided they are legal in the states where they are sold and shipped, and the ads are demo-targeted to those states.

Fireworks
The advertising of fireworks is not acceptable.

  • All air gun, stun gun and antique firearms advertising is subject to Ad Policy review. Advertisers will be required to submit a written legal opinion setting forth which states allow sales of the products to Jill Samuels in AOL Legal.
  • No firearms, air gun or stun gun advertisements will be permitted in AOL Kids, Cambio or any areas of AOL or Advertising.com directed to kids or teens.
  • AOL Advertising reserves the right to specify pictorial limitations on antique firearm advertisements and placements (for example, we will allow a brand logo but not the image of someone shooting the gun).
