Head of US Sales
Tim is one of the few execs who leapt the Great Divide of 2009, jumping from Time Warner to join the newly independent AOL. His 14 years of sales leadership – 7 at each company – have helped write one of the most remarkable stories in business today. How they didn’t give him an ulcer is still unclear.
As Head of US Sales, Tim and his team have expanded AOL's advertising business, helping to keep AOL Sales at the top of the IAB's Annual Ranking year after year. In 2013, AOL was one of only two companies to merit IAB's Award for Overall Sales Excellence.
During his time as VP of Corporate Sales for Time Inc., Tim was responsible for bringing major advertisers into the digital world, developing integrated programs that made full use of Time Inc.’s 50 domestic brands across their digital, mobile, print and video platforms.
Prior to joining corporate sales, Tim served as Northwest Advertising Director for FORTUNE/CNN Money group. Previously, he was Director of Business Development for the Seattle-based business portal Onvia.com.
Tim graduated from the Miami University in Oxford, OH. A Wisconsin native, he hasn’t let Marin County’s artisanal toast craze spoil his taste for brats on the grill. He remains a die-hard Packers fan as well as a part-time drummer. He and his wife Michele live in lovely Tiburon, CA with their two equally lovely children.
