Rob Luenberger is responsible for driving research efforts across AOL Advertising. His work includes devising algorithms, prototyping software for product features, and optimizing network yield.
Dr. Luenberger was also chief scientist for Advertising.com, where he supervised the ongoing development of the company's optimization technology, AdLearn. He set the research agenda in accordance with company strategy, oversaw research activities and provided technical guidance.
Prior to joining Advertising.com, Rob co-founded Onward, Inc., a mathematical modeling consulting firm. After serving as an Advertising.com consultant for many years, Onward joined Advertising.com in 2004.
Rob holds a BS from Caltech, an MS from UC Santa Barbara and a PhD from the Operations Research department at Stanford University. He is also a lecturer in the Management Science and Engineering department at Stanford University.
