Vice President, Consumer Analytics & Research, AOL
As Vice President of Consumer Analytics & Research for AOL, Christian oversees the market research and sales research teams at AOL. He’s responsible for infusing the voice of the consumer into the organization and developing new advertising ROI solutions. Additionally, he manages all primary quantitative and qualitative research at AOL, and his team is tasked with surfacing salient consumer and marketplace insights to the sales, product and content organizations.
Prior to joining AOL, he was SVP, Strategy & Innovation at Vivaki, where he worked with senior leadership to navigate new data and research challenges posed by emerging media. Before Vivaki, Christian served as SVP of Denuo where he created Searchlight, a proprietary research and consulting tool that measures the degree and influence of conversations and recommendations among groups of consumers. Christian and his research team took home the Best Overall Research award from ESOMAR Global Congress 2014, and he was recently recognized by the Advertising Research Foundation as Member Ambassador of the Year.
Christian graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in advertising. A film buff, Christian has viewed AFI’s Top 100 lists (128 films in all) of the all-time greatest American movies. When not being cinematic, Christian can be found working on his latest DIY home improvement project at his home in Connecticut, where he lives with his wife Emily and their two daughters.
