Senior Vice President of Global Video Sales

As Senior Vice President of Global Video Sales for AOL, Charles Gabriel oversees all sales and strategy efforts for AOL's video offering. His team focuses on the development of full service video solutions to meet any advertisers content and distribution needs online.

Charles came to AOL in September 2010 through the acquisition of 5min Media where he was most recently the Vice President of Sales.  From the ground up he was instrumental in developing 5min Media’s position is the Ad community. He was responsible for driving all advertising revenue for the company by managing brand, agency and strategic relationships.

Before arriving at 5min Media, Charles was the Sr. Director of Business Development at Broadband Enterprises (BBE) where he managed strategic network partnerships and distribution of Original Programming. Prior to his career in digital media he held Business Development positions at Indymac Bank and GE Money, A Division of GE Consumer Finance.

Off the clock Charles is a former collegiate soccer player and an avid fan.  He attended The University of Connecticut as well as Post University where he was a member of the Men’s Soccer team.  Charles also enjoys poker, bowling and billiards and will participate in any socially competitive game.  A food and wine enthusiast who loves to travel, he lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
